Ken Miller, 81, of Columbus, passed away on November 27, 2018. He was born on March 13, 1937 to the late Kenneth and Annabelle Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Peggy, who is said to be the greatest gift he ever received; two wonderful sons Todd (Carmen) and Scott; grandchildren Monica, Jacob, Nicole, Jason, Ryan, and Danielle, who Ken adored; and last but not least, his beloved dog, Abby. Kenny treasured his hometown of Ligonier, Pennsylvania, where he was born and raised. He went on to graduate from Edinboro University in 1959, where he was a member of the Phi Sigma Pi Fraternity. Kenny was an incredibly outgoing and friendly man who always found a way to strike up a conversation with a stranger. Ken was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye's and Steeler's fan, golfer, and an all-around sports fan. One of his most treasured pastimes was watching his grandchildren play sports games with Peggy. It is said of Ken that "God broke the mold when He created Ken… he lit up a room with his personality and jokes." A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH Chapel, 5554 Karl Road, where family will also receive friends from 12 - 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made out to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY 10016 or the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Street Columbus, OH 43214. Visit www.schoedinger.com to view Ken's tribute video and express condolences to his family.
