

Kenneth N. Wright, age 81, left this world surrounded by his friends and family on Friday, December 31, 2010. He was born in Columbus on March 9, 1929, and he served our country for 9 years in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. After the service, he worked for Capital City Products and Western Electric, eventually retiring as a stationary engineer. Kenneth was an avid Ohio State fan, and he enjoyed woodworking and keeping his yard in immaculate condition. He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Marvel Wright; brother, Ned Wright and wife, Linda Wright; sister, Joan Moore; sons, Michael Wright, and Timothy Wright and his wife, Denise Wright; daughter, Lori Thompson and her husband, Greg Thompson; grandchildren, Shelley (Jim) Fischer, Trevor Wright, Austin Wright, and Madison Thompson; close friend, Bob Hughes; and many loving and caring nieces and nephews, especially, Clifford and Charlene Nutter, Linda Nutter, Jeff Wright, and Cyndee Scalf. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Forrest Wright; sisters, Lois Wright and Patty Thompson; brother, Richard Wright; special brothers-in-law, John Moore and Marvin Mueller; and special niece, Karen Nutter. Family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. Interment will immediately follow at Union Cemetery.
