Ken was born on December 30, 1931, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, to Anton and Stella Yeager. After serving 4 years in the U.S. Naval Air Force during the Korean conflict era, Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin - Stout.
Ken enjoyed a successful career as an engineer and executive in the technology industry: a global business manager, whose overseas assignments included the United Kingdom, Iran, Austria and Romania. His work involved business trips to all European countries, the Far East, Australia and South Africa. Ken also served as project manager and senior advisor for Governor Rudy Perpich of Minnesota.
One of Ken’s passions during his retirement years was rescuing and re-homing pets, especially dogs. Ken was active in the Twin Cities Scottish Club, Coast Guard Auxiliary - St. Paul Minnesota, the University Club and the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
Ken is survived by his partner of 40 years, Shirley; his children, Cindy (Bob) Giguere, Dave (Dot) and Jeff (Patty); and grandchildren Tom, John, Stephanie and Holly. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
Schoedinger Northwest is entrusted with his arrangements. Arrangements for a private service are pending.
