Kent was a 1997 graduate of Castle High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Ball State University. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs Fan, avid golfer, and turned into quite the Columbus Blue Jackets fan when he moved to Columbus. Kent loved music and traveling.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Bill and Maxine Harris; and maternal grandparents, Claude and Dorothy Springstun.
Kent is survived by his brother, Brian (Kelly) Harris; nieces, Molly and Mia; girl-friend, Keri Knowles; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
