Kevin A. Smith

Kevin A. Smith, age 55, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2011. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL to William and Marjorie Smith. He graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in Michigan and then from the Detroit Technical School of Aeronautics. Kevin worked for many years as an aviation mechanic for U.S. Airways, mainly in the Pittsburg area. He held a private pilot’s license and truly enjoyed working on and flying planes. Kevin also had a passion for cars, especially Corvettes, Cameros and Chevelles. He is survived by his parents; his wife, Debbie S. (Borowski) Smith; sons, Scott and Shawn Smith; sister, Terri Smith; brother, Russell (Nannette) Smith; niece, Nicole and nephew, Brett; mother-in-law, Sheila Hastings and father-in-law, Jerry (Tilly) Borowski; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ann Bauer, Jerry Borowski, Jr., Brenda Borowski, Dave Borowski, Jeff Borowski and Tad Borowski.
