Kirsten Elliott, of Westerville, Ohio age 47, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Kirsten joins her mother, Toni Elliott and brother, Greg Elliott, as they precede her in death. After their mother passed away in 1977, Kirsten and Greg were lovingly raised by their aunt and uncle, Nicki and Ralph Stelzer.
Kirsten was a devoted mother to her son Travis. She is also survived by her half sister, Lynn (Gary) Quinn of Chicago, Illinois; aunts, Nicki (Ralph) Stelzer of Celina, Ohio, and Jeri Burger of Waterford, Michigan; cousins Karen (Kevin) Klosterman, Jill (Nate) Shreffler, Shannon (Andy) White, Jeff (Becky) Burger, Tracie (James) Fitzgerald and Tim (Jennifer) Burger; special ‘niece’ and ‘nephew’, Lauren and Lucas Klosterman; many other loving cousins; many special friends; and her feline companions Shadow and Einstein.
A graduate of Celina High School, Class of 1984, Kirsten went on to graduate from The Ohio State School of Cosmetology. Currently, she was an Administrative Assistant at Westerville South High School. Yet, she has always been an active part of the Westerville Schools as a volunteer, while Travis was a student. Kirsten had many loves; she loved cooking, she enjoyed taking walks, she loved animals and was an avid Buckeye fan.
Kirsten’s life will be Honored with a Funeral Service 10am, Monday, February 24, 2014 at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street in Worthington, where family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery in Westerville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kirsten Elliott Memorial Fund, to assist her son Travis, through the Delaware County Bank. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home during service times.
