Koko Hershey

Koko Hershey, 85, of Powell, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2020. Koko was preceded in death by her parents, Katsue and Takeno (Kaneko) Nakamura, her siblings Hiroko, Hiroshi, and Takeshi Nakamura and granddaughter, Tikki Anderson.

Koko was a devoted daughter, sister, friend, grandmother and most of all devoted mother. She was a proud graduate of Franklin University and retired from Columbia Gas of Ohio, Inc after 26 years of service. Her main hobbies outside of spending time with family, was table tennis, sudoku and being an avid gardener.

Koko will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her but especially by her children, William (Eska) Hershey, John (Cassondra) Hershey, Robin (Ken) Linkins, and Margie (Steve) McCullum; grandchildren, Michelle “Shell Bell” Turner, Christina “Chrissina” (Morgan) Pletcher, Stephanie “Steffa” Turner, Donald Kimes Jr., Brittany Kimes, Vincent (Andrea), John A.K. Hershey II, Katie Irish, Samantha, Joshua, Sarah and Anna Hershey; great grandchildren, Diontaye and Terrell Turner, Makayla Darst, Isaac Barker, Grace Pletcher, Derrick Kimes, Kesean and Takemi Anderson, Khloe Lovell, Angelo, Dominic, and Camron Caruso; and great-great grandchild, Divinity Pittman.

A private memorial service will be held.
