My name is Jay Lowrey, and I was Kurt's roommate at Ole Miss. I was stunned and saddened to hear of his passing. Kurt was a great guy and a genuinely good person. We had a lot of good conversations, played a lot of dorm-room basketball, and just generally hanging out. I was and am proud to have known him and call him friend.

Kurt led our Bible study group when I was at Holophane, and I worked with him on projects for American Electric Lighting. He was a wonderfully caring person and his passion for Our Savior was inspirational. I am honored and blessed to have known Kurt and was so deeply saddened to hear of his death by a mutual friend in the company. 
I know he will be missed by so many. Prayers and Our Father’s strength to the family.

Kurt has been a good friend and co-worker for many years at American Electric and Acuity Brands Lighting. Even though we didn't see each other that often, we always had good memories of the lighting experiences that we shared especially with the LED lighting designs. He is and will be long remembered.

I met Kurt Fox at a Bible study when I was a fellow student at Ole Miss in 1990. We quickly became friends due to our shared faith in Jesus Christ. Kurt was very humble and had a servant's spirit. When my wife, Jennifer, and married in March, 1991, Kurt served as a groomsman in our wedding in my hometown of Batesville, MS. Our life journeys went in different directions after college, and we lost contact. I was deeply saddened to hear of his death by a mutual friend in his company. To his family, may God's love and promises carry you during these hours. May we all be reminded of the realities of heaven, and the unbroken fellowship that will one day be ours through Christ.

When Angela brought Kurt home to meet her family, I was so happy for my niece. Kurt was a wonderful young man, a Christian and I knew that he loved my sweet Angela. Over the years he has proved that over and over. We lost a great husband and father but we rejoice in knowing he is free of pain and he is present with the Heavenly Father and that we will see him again one day! God bless Angela, Ethan, Luke, Beth Ann and all those who loved Kurt.

With heartfelt deep sympathy to his family.  Kurt was such a dear soul, I don't think a day went by when I was not calling or looking for Kurt for assistance at work.  He was such a key supporter in the successes of our group.  He was ALWAYS there for me, no matter what, with a cheerful voice and a such a willingness to help.  He was a teacher and mentor to many every day and was a huge contributor to our successes.

I loved Kurt's sense of humor and his friendship, he was my main supporter as a friend and as a co-worker.  

I am so deeply saddened and will miss him deeply.  My prayers and love to his family.
