L. Richard Mowery

He graduated from North High School Class of 1955, and served in the United States Army Reserves. Retired from American Electric Power.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Mowery; adult children, Julie Williams, Lori (Mark) Miller, and Ron (Melinda) Mowery. Dick was also survived by six grandchildren: Stephanie Williams-Rood, Brandon (Victoria) Williams, Jamie (Neal) Merchant, Justin (Kelsey) Mowery, Megan Miller (Ryan Hahn) and Kathryn (Michael) Smith; 10 great-grandchildren: Emperial Williams, Larry D. Singleton III, Emanuel Rood, Conner Merchant, Kaelynn Miller, Steven and Kennedy Merchant; Hailey, Lincoln and Titus Mowery, and Addilynn Hahn; and one great-great-grandson, Malakius Williams.

Family will receive friends at 2PM, with a service following at 3PM on December 9 at Maize Rd Baptist Church, 4251 Maize Rd, Columbus, OH 43224, Pastor Shawn Hensley presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "MRBC Community Ministry" at Maize Rd Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTH.
