

Larry Grant Criswell, age 93 of Dublin, passed away the day before his 94th birthday, Saturday, April 5, 2019. Larry was born in Kansas City, Missouri, only child of the late Rex and Ruth Criswell. Also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gaylle E. Criswell. Larry graduated from Purdue University where he earned degrees from the School of Science and the School of Chemical Engineering. He was a Registered Professional Engineer for many years in the State of Ohio and retired from Ross Products Division of Abbott Laboratories after 25 years of dedicated service in Research and Development on food products and process development. Larry was also a volunteer at Riverside Methodist Hospital where he served several years on the Volunteer Board. In addition, he was Member, Deacon, and Elder with Overbrook Presbyterian Church, and served on the Executive Board of the COMPASS mission program at Broad Street Presbyterian Church. He will be greatly missed by his children, Karen (Tom) Coffey, Stephany (Michael) Merick, and Steven (Deanna) Criswell; grandchildren, Tyler Coffey, Benjamin (Amanda), Alex, and Katelyn Merick, Lindsey (Andrew) Christian, and Dalton Criswell; great grandchildren, Genevieve and Olivia Merick; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2019 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 4131 N. High St. Interment Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to may contribute to Friendship Village of Dublin, Resident Benevolent Fund, 6000 Riverside Dr., Dublin, Ohio 43017.
