LaTonya Darcel Shivers, 48, passed away while vacationing in Jamaica on Friday, May 18, 2012. Graduate of Marion Franklin HS and CSCC. Employed by DFAS-Columbus for 20 years and ran her own business with the Tahitian Noni Company. She was an active member of New Birth Christian Ministries. She was also an avid traveler. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Cynthia McBeth and John Jordan, Jr.; and brother, Jodi Jordan. She has left her loving spirit with her surviving children, Fasshon and James III; the father of the children, James Shivers II; 2 sisters and 4 brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation at 9 am and a Homegoing Service at 10 am Thursday, May 31, 2012 at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Road. Interment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
