Jim and family, I am so sorry for your loss. You and Laura have been great neighbors to  me since I moved here a few years ago. I remember the first time I met Laura. I had just moved in and was trying to do some yard work, but I only had a small bucket to put yard waste in. Laura was outside and noticed I was struggling and gave me a stack of yard waste bags. This may seem like a small gesture, but it meant a lot to me and is a testament to her kindness and generosity. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. 

My heart is with your family.  Laura was a high school classmate at  St. Joseph Academy.  The loving memories expressed by her work colleagues are just as I remember her all those years ago - loving, kind and friendly.   Beth Sebesta Piper - SJA  Class of 1978

Sorry to hear of Laura's passing.  I knew Laura her entire time at IRS.  She was helpful in whatever job she did.  She was particularly helpful with IT.  She helped even when she did not have time.  I am sorry for the family.

My heartfelt condolence to the family. I met Laura over 14 years ago as the IT person assigned to help me get my office set-up. She was so very helpful. I could call, email or skype her and she responded. Through the years we shared many laughs together. Her passing has shocked me, however, I will remember her fondly.


I am so heartbroken to hear that Laura has passed. She was ALWAYS there for me at the IRS when I needed assistance with IT issues. She was always able to resolve my issues timely and efficiently. She always had a smile on her face and was always a pleasure to talk to. Laura was able to resolve my issues when no one else could, no matter how busy she was.  Sending condolences and healing prayers from my family to yours. May God bring peace to your hearts.  I am so very sorry for your/our loss.

The news of Laura's passing is heartbreaking. She was the go-to IT person in the office and always had a solution. On top of that, she was a great person and will be missed. 

The news of Laura’s passing is heartbreaking. I met Laura while working for IRS. She was always friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable in IT.  It was always a joy to see her, and she always had a ready smile. We often talked about our dogs and gardening. Her laugh was infectious. She will truly be missed.

I am so saddened by the news of your passing. I enjoyed working with Laura at IRS. Your kindness did not go unnoticed. You were very dedicated to your job. Sending sympathy greetings to the family.

Laura was a great lady. Kind helpful and hard working.  She will be greatly missed.

Laura was absolutely the sweetest person and always willing to help.   I will miss her infectious laugh and smile.  Praying for peace and comfort for Laura's family during this time.

Laura was, as I am sure you know, incredibly intelligent and capable of fixing whatever was wrong with a computer and would research and test theories if there was a new problem to solve, but far more than that, she had an irreverent sense of humor, a kind, supportive manner, and excellent common sense when it came to worrying about life.  We are all better off for having known her. 

Laura is the mostly important  person in the Columbus office.  She touched everyone's life and will be missed greatly! May God bless her with true happiness in heaven. 

Jim so sorry for your loss.   When she started at IRS she was my secretary. But in the time she worked for me she became more. We were good friends.  Over the years I have thought about her many times. How she made me laugh & how she was always ahead of me at work making my job easy. I share your sadness.

So sorry to hear of this.  I’ve been a co-worker of Laura’s since she started at the IRS.  She was always  willing to help with any need at work. She had an infectious laugh.  We will all miss her.

Stunned to hear of this sudden passing. All of us at work will miss Laura’s help and wisdom in the office. She was one of the first people I met when I started at the IRS almost 15 years ago. Jim, you have been in my prayers - you are on our church prayer list also.  I know you loved her and will miss her.  It has been almost two years since Ron went to his Heavenly Home, and I still miss him.  I am sorry that we had not been able to get together for some time.
