Laurie Sue (Weaver) Parmelee, age 68, passed away peacefully at Embassy of Cambridge. Laurie was born in Moultrie, Georgia, to Robert and Margaret Weaver. She attended school in Clarksville, Tennessee, and spent many years working as a health care aide, where she dedicated herself to caring for others. Laurie had a deep love for animals and found joy in taking nature walks. Over the years, she made her home in Tennessee, Arizona, Florida, and Ohio, creating many cherished memories along the way. She was a former member of Panama City United Methodist Church. Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Weaver; her husband, Kevin Parmelee; and her sister, Barbara Lacy. She is survived by her siblings, Bobby Weaver, Robin Morrison, and Jimmy Weaver; her nieces, Marly, Brandy, and Danielle; and her nephew, Robert "RP." In accordance with Laurie's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. However, you may consider making a donation to your favorite animal shelter. Laurie’s ashes will be buried next to her late husband, Kevin, in Syracuse, N.Y.
