Lawrence R. "Rick" Linden, age 67 taken too soon after a short and courageous battle with lung cancer on Sunday, December 7, 2014. He retired from AEP with 44 years of service. He is preceded in death by his biological father, Harold L. Allen; his adopted father, John A. Linden Jr., and his trusted canine, Sailor. Rick was an avid NASCAR fan and car enthusiast. He was the family rock and their MacGyver. Rick is loved and cherished by his wife of 47 years, Mary Alice Linden; children, Mark (Cindy) Linden, Julie (Jay) Williams; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle, Courtney, Ashley, Samantha, PJ, and Richard; mother, Geneva Linden; siblings, Bill (Marsha), Randy (Karen), and Nancy; brother-in-law, Fred (Sue) Williams; and many nieces and nephews.
