Lee Alan Amos, age 83, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on September 2, 2026. He was born on March 30, 1943, in Dennison, Ohio, to the late Harold and Sara (Barricklow) Amos. Lee was preceded in death by his loving wife, Constance Heibel Amos, whom he was married to for 44 years, and his parents, Harold and Sara Amos. He leaves behind his children, Angela Jacob and Alan (Tracy) Amos; grandchildren, Paige (Josh) Czerpak, Justin (Erika) Amos, and Brooke (Cody) Temple; and great-grandchildren, Duke, Rowan, Finnan, and two more on the way. He also leaves behind his companion, Paula Christman, as well as many other beloved family members, extended family, lifelong friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know and love him. Lee was a member of the Kiwanis Club – Hilltop, as well as IBEW Local 71. He proudly served his township as a fiscal officer for many years, a position he took great pride in and dedicated himself to. Lee will be remembered for the many lives he touched, the friendships he made, his dedication to his community, and, most importantly, the love he had for his family. His memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends who will miss him dearly. Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we find comfort knowing that Lee is no longer suffering and has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and is once again reunited with those he loved who went before him. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lee’s name to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd SE, Newark, Ohio 43055. Until we meet again, Dad, Pap-pap, and friend. You will forever remain in our hearts.
