

Dr. Lee Howard, 59, of Dublin, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012. He was born June 27, 1952 in Ashtabula, Ohio. Dr. Howard was a graduate of Brookhaven High School where he was a scholar athlete, and received his Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. from OSU, where he was the president of the Weight Lifting Club and Mr. OSU Abs. Dr.
Howard was self employed with Lee Howard, Inc. He was state record holder in cross country and track, an avid weight lifter and a nationally ranked cyclist. Lee admired Lance Armstrong’s tenaciousness and fight; he strived to LIVESTRONG. Lee was a most loving, dedicated, supportive father and husband. He will be remembered for his guidance, brilliance, intellect, and intensity.
Lee will be missed by his loving wife of 20 years, Jaqi; sons, Connor, Kerry (Lynette) Yoakum, and Jamie (Jenny) Yoakum; 4 grandchildren who lovingly called him “Pops”, Reese (8), Brady (4), Cole (10), and Jaden (8); dear mother, Norma Howard; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Joe and Michelle O’Brien.
Family will receive friends Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 4-6 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (Just south of I-270), where the memorial service will be held Monday at 3 p.m.
