Lee R. Waldren

Lee R. Waldren, age 56, of Columbus passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Fairhope Hospice, Lancaster, Ohio. Lee was born on November 4, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio. He was affectionately known to many as "Wally or Uncle Dude". Wally worked many years in the T-Shirt screen printing business and was a handyman. Lee also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Lee had a sense of humor and would turn hard situations into fun. Preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Waldren and Gloria (Vigor) Waldren; and sister, Cathy Wolfe. Survived by his daughter, Nicole Waldren; grandchildren, Richelle, Brylon, Destinee and Celeste; siblings, Wallace (Pat) Rushin, Constance (Daniel) Robinson, Christine Mattox and Thomas Rushin; cousin, Mindy (Mark); and friend Jeff Fritz; a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday May 4, 2019 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church 2745 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43204 with Abigail Adams to officiate. Inurnment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate at a later date.
