Lena Velma Federer, age 104, of Columbus, passed away peacefully October 13, 2026 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She particularly enjoyed her “extended family” of neighbors. She loved to eat! She enjoyed crossword puzzles and animals of all kinds. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Sandy Stalter; son-in-law, Larry Stalter. She is survived by her daughters, Barb Brown and Patti (Steve) Henthorn; grandchildren, Larry (Melissa) Stalter, Mark (Lisa) Stalter and Melissa (Jerry) Sorrells; great grandchildren, Christian (Hannah), Brandon, and Isabella Stalter; sister, Mary (Bob) Kapel; other relatives and friends. A funeral service will held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio where friends will be received one hour prior to the service (from 11a – 12p, Wednesday); interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
