Leona Farley

Leona Farley, age 101, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born March 22, 1914 to the late George and Julie Mullins in Pike County, Kentucky. She was one of eleven siblings all of whom have preceded her in death. Leona was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and loved to garden. Leona retired from Doctors North Hospital after many years of devoted service. Along with her parents and siblings, she is preceded in death by her son, Sterling Farley and grandson, Brett Farley. She is survived by sons, Junior (Barbara), Jim (Bobbie), William "Tubie" (Karen) and Larry (Marge) Farley; daughter, Paula (Stan) Bolton; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 4-6pm on Sunday at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held 11am, Monday, October 19, 2015. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate following the service.
