Leona Margaret Stillion

There will be no services for Leona Margaret Stillion, 71 of Newark. Leona was born in Piedmont, Ohio on October 2, 1938 to the late Harry and Margaret (Axe) Reynolds. She passed away on January 26, 2010 at the Newark Healthcare Centre.

Leona was the Salutatorian of her graduating class at Quaker City High School. She was a psychiatric aid for the State Mental Hospital for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and was well known for her creative seamstress abilities. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Clifford R. Stillion Jr. of Columbus and Kent (Cynthia) Stillion of Salesville; three daughters, Laura (Jack) Allberry, Audrey (Randall) McElroy and Deirdre (Michael) Ashcraft, all of Newark; one brother, Wayne (Nancy) Reynolds of Roseville; one sister, Phyllis (BJ) Johnson of Newark; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Stillion.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Leona to Hospice of Central Ohio or to the American Cancer Society.
