Leonora Holmes Joyce, age 90 of Powell, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013. Leonora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herbert Joyce Jr., granddaughter, Scarlett Chapman, parents, Holmes and Frances Dixon and sister, Virginia Abney. She will be greatly missed by her loving daughter, Virginia (Alvin) Chapman; grandson, Chip (Rebecca) Chapman; great grandchildren, Hayden Brown and Emily and Joseph Chapman; and many other extended family and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, May 24, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL 6699 N. High St., where family will receive friends from 12 P.M. until time of service. Interment Dublin Cemetery.
