

Liosliath was born July 23, 1973, in Dover, Ohio, to Lynn and the late Jesse Manner. In addition to her beloved father, from whom she inherited her beautiful blue eyes, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Blanche Manner and Myron and Miriam Good.
Liosliath graduated from Mount Vernon High School, Devry University, and was pursuing a second degree from The Ohio State University in International Studies. She received several fellowships and scholarships to study Arabic in Morocco. Liosliath loved to travel, had a life-long passion for learning, and was a voracious reader. Her caring personality enabled her to make friends wherever she went and was most evident in her love of animals. She was a smart, brave, independent, spiritual, and unique person with many interests. She did not tolerate injustice and always had compassion for the underdog. Liosliath had worked most of her life in the Information Technology field, currently at Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio, as an App/Systems Engineer, Investments Run Team.
Surviving loved ones include Liosliath's mother, brother, sister-in-law, and niece, Mathias, Jacqueline, and Madeleine Manner, brother John Manner, brother, sister-in-law, Gene Howell and Erica Glenn, brother, sister-in-law, Christopher and Peg Manner, sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Harold Ferrell, her beloved cats, Kipling, Otto, and Kaja, and many special friends. Feral cats that Liosliath took care of and loved included Lilypad, Theda Bara, Darwin, and Tort Reform.
Family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna, OH. There will be no formal service held.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that anyone so inclined, make a donation to Dogs for the Deaf (www.dogsforthedeaf.org) or Alley Cat Allies (www.alleycat.org) in Liosliath's name. Thank You.
