Leslie M. Pelino

Leslie Michele Peliño, age 53 of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Leslie was born and raised in Reynoldsburg, daughter of the late Gary and Alice Lovett. Leslie graduated from Reynoldsburg High School, Class of 1990, and following high school, went on to graduate from Columbus State University. Leslie worked as a Medical Technician for more than 23 years, primarily at Ohio State University in their Blood Bank and the Byrd Research Lab helping to develop treatments for leukemia. Throughout her life, Leslie was an active ambassador for Lifeline of Ohio, and was, herself, a liver transplant recipient. She had a bubbly personality, could sometimes be stubborn…but in the best way, and was very creative. She enjoyed sewing, art, baking, and loved animals. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Anthony Peliño; beloved sons, Nathan and Jacob Peliño; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 4-7 P.M. Monday, August 12, 2024 at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Rd.
