Lewis Meyers, 87, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to the Lord, on February 18, 2017. He was born on January 18, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Stanley Meyers and Mary Ann (Means) Dorris. A veteran, he served his country in the US Army from 1947 to 1969. A husband and father, he faithfully provided for his family and was always there to help a friend. He is survived by his wife, Rebeca, their sons Lewis Jr (wife Mary) and Andrew, and their daughter Celine, his brother Andrew (wife Mary) Dorris and sister Kathy (husband Lee) Nelson, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A viewing will be held from 10am to 12pm, Saturday, February 25th, at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, where a service will start at 12pm. Inurnment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
