Lewis "Scott" Nugent, 55, left this world on March 15, 2021. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky to Bernard Nugent and Barbara (Hays) Ray on August 6, 1965. He earned his degree in Business Management and went to work as an Inventory Supervisor for Federal Express for 2 years. He married his soulmate Beth (Geiger) on June 6, 2014 and has had the adventure of his life with her ever since.
Scott loved his Harleys, and went for long rides often. He enjoyed many trips with his wife, including vacations to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and Memphis. More recently, Scott became a member of AMMO (All Modern MOPARS of Ohio) and showed the "second love of his life," his 2019 "Plum Crazy" Scat Pack Dodge Challenger.
Scott is preceded in passing by his father, Bernard; and grandparents Charles and Margaret Hays.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 6 and 1/2 years, Beth; his mother, Barbara (David) Ray; son Jeffrey (Anthony), grandkids Grayson, Adeline, and Colsen; step-daughter Courtney (Jason) Matthews and step-son Zachary (Courtney) Churchill; brothers Chris Ray and Denny (Shelly) Robinson; nieces Hailey and Riannan, nephew Ashden, his faithful furry companions Chet, Roxy, and Roger; and many other loved family and friends.
Visitation will take place at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230 on Saturday, March 27, from 2pm-5pm. Scott's family kindly requests attendees wear something purple to the visitation in his memory.
