Lillian E. “Uppie” Walters, 87 of Columbus, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012. She was born April 12, 1925 in Columbus to the late Clarence and Blanche (Yorch) Upp. She was a Government Marketing Specialist and Consultant for Ohio Transmission and Pump Co. and a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. She was a very creative mom and enjoyed working with stained glass. She is preceded in death by husband James “Sam” siblings Paul, Vernon and Evelyn Upp and Eleanor Basil. She is survived by children Gary (Judy) Clark, Christina (Robert Isennagle) Clark, Kimberly (Keith) Rupel, Alison (Keith) Laurier and Stephanie Clark, grandchildren Ron, Laura, Kyle, Elizabeth, Ryann and Gus, seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 1 PM at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ Food Pantry, 225 E.
