Linda always had a fondness for helping others. She first began a career in nursing before realizing her true passion for Social Services, particularly working with those with behavioral health needs. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University before leading a long and fulfilling career. Linda was kind, loving, empathetic, and had a beautiful spirit.
When Linda wasn’t caring for others at work, she could often be on a walk or spending time with dogs whom she adored. She also loved to travel, particularly to Aruba. Linda and her daughter Michelle shared lots of memories of their travels to Aruba, where they loved to walk along the beach or spend time shopping for jewelry downtown. Linda never left empty-handed, always finding a bauble to make her very happy. She also enjoyed spending time in Vermillion, OH. Linda’s parents had a cottage in Linwood, where Linda spent many happy and love-filled days both as a child and as an adult.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Michelle Corlis; Sister Carol Deuber, 2 nieces, 4 nephews, along with countless friends made along the way.
Please share your condolences, memories, and kindness with Linda’s family.
