Linda Ann Harper

Linda was born in Newark on June 23, 1942 to the late Thomas B. and Letha E. (Smith) Johnson. She passed away at Newark Healthcare Center on January 9, 2012.

Linda graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1960. She worked for Western Electric and Continental Can Company for many years before retiring. She was a devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Heath. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, painting, drawing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Philip D. Harper, whom she married on May 20, 1991; sons, Jeffrey Jacks of Lancaster and Michael A. (Erica) Jacks of Newark; sister, Marilyn Sue (Lyle) Bowers of Newark; grandchildren, Brittany, Adam, Hilary, Nick and Zack; great grandchildren, Kenadie and Kamdyn; nieces, nephews and her beloved cat, Smokey.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Linda to the Seventh Day Adventist Church Community Center, 701 Linnville Rd., Heath, Ohio 43056.
