She was born February 3, 1946 in Sebring, Ohio, daughter of the late Scott and Lucille Patterson. She graduated from The Ohio State University. She enjoyed her work as an elementary school guidance counselor until her retirement in 2008. Afterwards, she enjoyed traveling, the outdoors and volunteering with the art community.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Trimble (husband Alex and daughter Charlotte) of San Francisco, California, and Karen Turano (husband Thad and children Ryker; Eleanor; and Boden) of Plain City, Ohio; preceded in death by grandson, Tyler Turano. Also survived by sister Gail Griffin (husband John) and brother, Robert Patterson (wife Patsy).
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Liberty Presbyterian Church, 7080 Olentangy River Rd, Delaware OH on April 22, at 2:00 followed by reception. A memorial contribution may be made in Linda’s name to the Sierra Club.
