

Linda A. Thompson, born to William and Rosie Singleton in Columbus, OH, departed this world August 1, 2010 after a battle with illness. Linda graduated from Linden McKinley High School class of 1972 where she was a cheerleader and was also involved in choir. Linda was employed with Ohio Auto Club as a travel agent for over 20 years where she provided superior service to clients and made Top 10 in sales regularly. Linda enjoyed reading, dancing, singing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Linda donated to the American Red Cross and believed that giving should be something that is done everyday. Making the best of every situation was an integral part of her way of life. Preceded in death by parents, niece, and great nephew. Survived by husband, Ronald Thompson; daughters Lanita Singleton, Makia Singleton; sisters, Mary Hammonds-Miller, Wilma (Johnell) Hinton, Gwendolyn Singleton; grandchildren, Robert Earl Crowe, Juanita Jones; 2 nieces; several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., where family will receive friends from 12 P.M. until time of service. Rev.
