Linda Eileen Wise

Linda Eileen Wise, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2015, two days after the death of her daughter, Monica Miller. Linda was born September 18, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William Arthur Maddy Jr. and Bessie Bulah (Hedgecock) Maddy. She was a 1961 graduate of Columbus Central High School and retired from the State of Ohio where she worked for over 30 years in the office of budget and management. Linda studied Tae Kwon Do under Master Yang, enjoyed fishing and coached Hilliard girls' softball. Above all else, she treasured her family and enjoyed her role as "maw-maw." In addition to her parents and daughter, Monica, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Sylvia (Jim) Wolfe and Clara (Pete) Beatty; brothers, Roswell (Mary) Maddy and Kenneth Maddy; and brother-in-law Douglas (Mary) Wise. She will be missed by her husband of 37 years, Ronald Wise; daughters, Michelle Spriggs, Megen Wise and Morgen (Adam) Arcand; special grandchildren, Taylor Wise, Courtney Parham, Gavin Wise, Naythen Siders, Shawn Snyder II, Emaleigh Arcand, Gabrielle Arcand; great-grandchildren, Kylee and Sydney Cornett; daughter Miriam Rogers and her children Stevie, Joe and Anna; aunt, Louise Stewart; sister-in-law,Wanda Crabtree; countless nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visiting hours for Linda and Monica will be held from 4-7pm on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Schoedinger Funeral Service to assist with final expenses.
