

Lois Dietrich Long Harley, died on Tuesday, June 8, 2017. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 58 years, Theodore Harrison Harley, of Grove City, OH; her daughter, Heather Harley Koschny; her parents, Naomi and Arthur Herman Long and her brother Arthur Herman Long, Jr. Lois graduated from Westmont Upper Yoder High School in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Hood College in 1945. Lois was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She is survived by her daughters, Hope Harley Halleen, Plano, TX and Hilary Harley Spector, Newton MA; her grandchildren, Ashley Ford Wells, Eve Ford Davenport, Sarah Ford Brammer, 1st Lt. Tyler Harley Ford, Julia Harley Spector, Emma Dietrich Spector and her great-grandchildren, Liv Pearl Davenport, Robert Harley Davenport and Benjamin Theodore Brammer. Friends may call from 12:30-1:30 pm Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 E. State Street, Columbus, OH 43215, where funeral service will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday.
