Lois Arletta Maxwell

Lois Arletta Maxwell, 96, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was born January 9, 1922 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late Cecil and Mabel (Baker) VanScoy. Growing up she attended Starling H.S. Her family was very important to her and she cherished the time that she was able to spend with them. Lois loved to watch Cincinnati Reds baseball and OSU football. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Herman Maxwell; daughter, Darlene Taylor; 1 brother; 3 sisters; and grandson, John Wolf. Lois is survived by her children, Linda Keffer and Steve (Debbie) Maxwell; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Lois' family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
