Lonah Boyd

Lonah Boyd passed on to Heaven on December 28, 2023. She was born in Blount Springs, AL on December 28, 1934 to the late Preston and Vassie (McHenry) Burton. She loved to clean, go to garage sales, collect porcelain dolls, and attend church. Lonah was married to Kenneth J. Boyd (deceased) March 16, 1957. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Lonah is survived by sons, James (wife Mickey) Boyd, Mark Boyd, and Shawn (wife Kathy Boyd), granddaughters, Stephanie (husband Dave) Watkins, Amanda (husband Paul) Pilkington, Ashley (husband Shane) Guilfoyle, grandsons, Daniel (Wife Julie) Boyd, Andrew (wife Meagan) Eckstein, Matthew (Spouse Allen) DeCarlo-Boyd, Aaron (wife Emily) Boyd, and Shawn Ryan Boyd, great granddaughters, Emma and Grace Watkins, Elise and Olivia Eckstein, Lillian Guilfoyle; great grandsons, Caleb Malone, Conner, Hayden, and Liam Boyd, Isaac, Wyatt, and Cooper Eckstein, Jacob Guilfoyle, and James Boyd; many other family and friend including niece, Joann Stauffer; nephew, Tim Burton; lifelong friends, Dan and Sue Hill, Ferrell Savage, and dear friends, Carolyn White and Jackie Keller. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43232, where the funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
