Lorene Stafford

Lorene Stafford, age 76, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Lorene was born in Breeden, WV to Lee and Etta (Chaffins) Baisden. Lorene was the 2nd oldest of 13 children. She was a prominent figure in her sibling's life as she helped her mother raise them. Lorene was a loving homemaker. She especially loved to clean and cook dinners daily for her family and on Saturday's she would make them a special breakfast. During the week she would find time to enjoy her daily soap operas. Preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Etta Baisden; husbands, William Arthur Stafford and Venus McCoy; daughters, Angela Thomas and Jacqueline Tackett. Survived by her loving daughter and grandson; Joann Stafford and Kenneth Caldwell; grandchildren, Kimberly Woodridge, Greg Rasnick, John Thomas, Jade Collins and Ashley Davis; siblings, Rosetta, Mary, Gail, Marcella, Edith, Charlene, Henry and Donnie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 4-7 pm at HOPE and HEART FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 17, 2017. Internment Obetz Cemetery.
