Louise Ferguson, age 91, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017. She was born on May 3, 1926 in Capron, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Wesley Ferguson, Sr.; four siblings and son-in-law, Michael Nell. Louise is survived by her husband, Kenton Smith; daughter, Kathy Ferguson-Nell; sons, George Wesley Ferguson, Jr. (Cynthia Dennewitz) and Michael Ferguson; grandsons, Aaron (Jennifer) Nell and Erik Nell; great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, and nephews. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Monday, November 6, 2017 at Church of the Redeemer United Methodist, 235 McNaughten Rd. Columbus, OH 43213. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Louise's memory to your favorite charity.
