

Louise grew up in Fall River, Massachusetts. She attended St. Jean the Baptist Academy; and earned an associate’s degree and paralegal certificate from Capital University, which she was very proud of. For 15 years, Louise worked at Huntington Bank in International Banking, where she was called upon many of times to translate French.
She married the love of her life, Alfred, and proceeded on with her wedding during Hurricane Edna, a deadly and destructive hurricane that hit the east coast during September of 1954. Photos of the wedding show very few guests who could actually attend, but a happily smiling bride and groom.
Louise enjoyed calligraphy, making ceramic jewelry, planting lovely flowers, playing the piano and listening to music. She also enjoyed traveling and the beach. She was a vivacious women who always had her bright red lipstick on; and was very proud of her French heritage.
Louise will be greatly missed by her daughters, Jeannie Hayes (Levent Kirisci) and Jacqueline Batts (Richard); grandchildren, Michael Edward Hayes (Amanda), Kaley Nicole Hayes, Matthew Cole Ouimet, Emily Jean Ouimet and Summer Grace Batts; and sister, Pauline Quigley.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Joseph Ouimet; son, Peter Charles Ouimet; and sister, Lucille A. Poirier.
Private services were held for the family.
