

She lived in Minneapolis until 1951 when she moved to Columbus (Upper Arlington) with her husband and two children. She spent the last 17 years of her life at the Westminster-Thurber Independent Residence.
Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Henry Anderson, her parents and her sister, Irene Carlson. Survived by her daughter, Carol (Nick) Hainen; son, Ronald (Dee) Anderson; five grandchildren, Steve (Jennifer) Hainen, Dianne (Dan) Yandrich, Jeffrey (Erica) Anderson, Jay (Melissa) Anderson and Joy (Jon) Todd; twelve great-grandchildren, Alex, Cameron, Connor, Grace, Abigail, Troy, Cate, Maddie, Owen, Tyler, Tanner and Nicholas.
She was an executive secretary and worked as the secretary for the Bishop of the Methodist Church and as the secretary to two superintendents of Upper Arlington Schools. She was a long time devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 63 years.
She was a very talented artist as a quilter and painter. She was an active member of the Upper Arlington Senior Center, the Upper Arlington Art League, the Riverside Hospital Sewing Guild, the St. Agatha Ladies Golf League, the Trinity Methodist Women's Circle, the Trinity Methodist Alter Guild, the Northwest Art League, the Trinity Methodist Prayers an Squares and the National Quilting Association.
She lived a long and enriched life and will be missed by all who knew her.
Family will receive friends Monday, February 16, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1581 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus, OH 43212 Rev. Dr. Christopher Heckaman and Rev. Dr. Brian Jones co-officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Private entombment to follow at Union Cemetery.
