Lucy Ann Jones

Lucy Ann Jones, age 95 of Whitehall, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. Lucy was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Jacenty and Marcella Potocki. Also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Jones, and sisters, Jodie Davis, Stella Sarnowski, and Emily Potocka. Lucy was a very loving and intelligent woman. She grew up during the depression, and because of that, she was never indulgent, always remained frugal, and instilled key values in her children. Lucy was also a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, enjoyed bowling, and was a member of numerous card clubs throughout the years. She will be missed by her children, Patricia (Leo) Graham and Richard (Cynthia) Jones; grandchildren, Luke (Roberta) and Jerry (Joy) Graham, and Ricky and Karlie Jones; step-grandchildren, Patrick, Kellie, Christopher, and Katie Kennedy; great grandchildren, Eagan and Rafe Graham and Justin Graham; and sister, Mary Leone. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, located on the grounds of St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 6440 S. High St., Lockbourne. Family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Interment St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
