Lynn McCoy

Lynn McCoy, 61, of Circleville, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Logan Elm Health Care after an extended illness. She was born January 22, 1952 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Glenn Gladstone and Alys Carolyn (Herrmann) McCoy. She was a 1970 graduate of Logan Elm High School and had worked as a cook at several restaurants including the Clarmont in Columbus. Lynn enjoyed reading books of all kinds and in her earlier years had loved riding horses. She was preceded in death by her parents; and Dr. Robert “Uncle Bob” McCoy. She is survived by her sisters, Lisa (John) Hedrick and Lois McCoy, both of Circleville; nieces, Elizabeth (J.R.) Snyder, Miranda Hedrick and Courtney McCabe; nephews, J.B. and T.C. Hedrick, great niece, Olivia Snyder; great nephew Aiden Snyder; and aunt, Jean McCoy.

As per Lynn’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Logan Elm Health Care Activities Department, 370 Tarlton Rd., Circleville, OH 43113. Arrangements were made with Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home.
