Makayla Ryan Scott

She graduated from Olentangy Orange High School, Class of 2017, and went on to attend Hondros College to study Nursing.

Makayla was a loving mother, daughter and granddaughter. She had a love for playing, and watching basketball, and loved her pets, Baron, Angel and Jingles. She enjoyed family vacations, and was up for any adventure.

Makayla is survived by her daughter Luna; mother Danielle Scott (Lee Roberts); father Christopher Schenk; beloved grandparents Robert and Annette Scott; uncle Nickolas Scott (Brooke); cousins, Clay and Avery; great grandparents June Scott, Earl and Caroline Whitehair; and many great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather from 4-7pm, Thursday at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 H. High Street in Worthington (1/2mile South of I-270) where her Funeral Service will be held at 10am, Friday, August 31, 2018. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens in Westerville.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Delaware County, 4920 OH-37, Delaware, OH 43015 (http://www.hsdcohio.org/), in her memory.

There will also be envelopes available at the funeral home where guests may make a loving contribution to a Memory Fund in Makayla's name.
