Margaret Brokloff

She was born June 17, 1939, in East Saint Louis, Missouri to John Selby and Maude Rae Jacobs. On June 10, 1967 she married John E. Brokloff and resided in North Canton for many years before moving to New Albany, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband John of New Albany; son John (Gretchen) Brokloff of Bath; daughter Anne (Dan) Buckner of New Albany; daughter Caroline (Dan) Wagner of New Albany; grandchildren Camille, Jacob, Jack, Claire, Lilian, John and Quinn; brother Selby (Ann) and brother Richard (Sylvia).

Margaret graduated high school from Lakewood High in Lakewood, Ohio. She attended the College of Wooster for her BA in English, then received her nursing RN from St. Luke's School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio. Being a native of the Cleveland area, Margaret followed and enjoyed all Cleveland professional sports, especially the Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers. She was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. In addition to these hobbies, Margaret enjoyed fishing and bird watching on Lake Erie and spending time with family and friends at Lake Mohawk. Favorite vacations were spent in Florida with her brothers Selby and Richard and their families, fishing and collecting shells on the beach.

Visitation will be held on Saturday February 6, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM. Masks and social distancing will be required. There will be no public graveside service.
