Margaret "Mickie" Dennis

Margaret (Mickie) Dennis was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. She left this world suddenly on July 29, 2023 at the age of 76. She was born to Averal & Cleo Davis on February 2, 1947. After graduating from Marion-Franklin High School, she worked for the City of Columbus in various roles until she became a Columbus Police Officer. Following retirement, Mickie worked for The Columbus Dispatch and Menards. Mickie loved spending time gardening, creating the most beautiful landscapes, and she especially enjoyed decorating the yard for her favorite holiday, Halloween. In her free time, she also enjoyed watching her favorite movies (The Twilight Saga) or spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Jaime White; son-in-law, Ed White; two granddaughters, Kyli & Claire; grandpup, Renegade as well as her sister, Beverly; many nieces and nephews; extended family; plus beloved friends. Visitation will be held 3-4 pm Friday, August 4, 2023 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43232, where the funeral service will begin at 4 pm.
