Margaret Elizabeth Eikost

Margaret "Margie" Eikost, age 89, formerly of Toledo, died November 3, 2021, at Dublin Assisted Living, Dublin, OH. Born February 9, 1932, to the late Marquis and Margaret VanDeMark. Graduated from high school in Piqua, OH, and attended the Ohio State University where she and her husband Robert were avid football and basketball fans. She also loved golf, tennis, playing bridge, and the outdoors. She and Robert were extensive travelers. Volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, OH for years. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Daniel VanDeMark, and brother-in -law William Eikost. Survived by children Carolyn (Tom) Dimond, Kathi Ryals, and triplets Beth Johnson, Mark (Kathleen) Eikost, and Robbie Eikost; grandchildren Sarah (Matt) Kasten, Mike (Brittany) Dimond, Miranda and Griffin Ryals, Brandon Johnson, one great-grandson Lucas; sister Rhoma Berlin; sister-in-law Barb Eikost. Family will receive friends 10-11am Friday, November 19, at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive. A Celebration of Life will be held 11am followed by a catered luncheon at the funeral home. Interment Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Assn of Central Ohio, 1379 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215, in her memory.
