Margaret Kurtz Mitchell

Margaret Kurtz Mitchell, age 81, of Columbus, OH passed away December 12, 2010. She was born April 13, 1929 in Akron, OH to the late Orien and Hazel Kurtz and was a 1947 graduate of Garfield High School. On Oct. 7, 1950 she married James G. Mitchell, who preceded her in death. Together, they raised 3 children, Gordon Mitchell, Marcia Mitchell Gano (Robert) and Tim Mitchell (Karen). She was the proud grandmother of Cortney Hatmaker (Mark), Alexis and Emma Gano and Eric and Kristen Mitchell and sister of Robert Kurtz (Ann) and Janet Cuppett; also survived by step-great-grandchildren Andrew and Destanie. Margaret will be remembered as a caring woman who always had a positive attitude. Whether she was traveling the world or simply reading a good book, Margaret enjoyed every day. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, December 15th, at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH 43221 where family will receive friends from 1-2pm; Rev.
