Margaret "Peg" Schweitzer

A funeral service for Margaret "Peg" Schweitzer of Newark will be held Wednesday January 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Pastor Dean Cole officiating.

Margaret was born in Thornville, Ohio on August 23, 1937 to the late James F and Gertrude (Taylor) Yarger. She died Saturday January 7, 2012 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was 74.

She is survived by her children Melody (Chee) Lam, Barb (Mike) Mason, Terry (Dale) Spencer, Tony (Renee) Blizzard and Wendy (Roy) Galiher; nine grandchildren, two great-grandsons, and Sisters Pat Newell of Newark, Georgia Johnson, Sherry Brown of KY, and Kay Strosnider of Rushville, and numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends to numerous to name. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Schweitzer, grandson JD Spencer, and brother Paul Yarger.

Margaret loved to crochet, wild bird watch, gardening she lived for her grandchildren and enjoyed them every day. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary.
