Margaret Elizabeth Ward

Margaret Elizabeth Ward, age 98, a resident of Westminster Thurber Community, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015. She was born on April 29, 1917 in Madison County, Indiana to the late Jesse and Edna Miller. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband James Ward. She is survived by her children, Catherine (Paul) Herman and Phillip (Maria) Ward; four grandchildren, Jenny, David and Andrew Herman and Theresa Walters; two great-grandchildren; sister, Alice McRae; brother, Ray G. Miller. She was a graduate of Wendell Wilkie High School in Elwood, Indiana and attended Indiana University. Margaret was a member of the Clintonville Women's Club, Crescendo Unit of Columbus Symphony Women's Organization, Associate member of Women's Board of March of Dimes, Buckeye Boys Ranch and Boulevard Presbyterian Church. Family will receive friends 5-7 PM on Friday, November 20, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 where Memorial Celebration will be held 10 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Interment will follow at 2 PM at Westfield Village Cemetery in Westfield Center, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WTC Life Care Fund, 717 Neil Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43215 Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL.
