Marguerite (Rieser) (Miller) Reynard

Marguerite A. (Rieser) Reynard of Grove City, OH, departed this life September 5, 2012. She was born July 5, 1924 in Columbus, OH daughter of the late Stella and Theodore Rieser. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. It was a part of her to be a caregiver, loving children, and a volunteer tutor at Darbydale Elementary for over 12 years. Honeymom, as she was known to all, leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kenneth E. Reynard; daughter, Jackie Miller Shaffer (George), of Dublin, OH; son, Dr.Donn Miller (Dr. Kathy), of Laingsburg, MI; sister, Virginia Williams (Dana); brothers, Fred Rieser (Carol), Donald Rieser (Phyllis); three grandsons, Matthew (Andrea), Todd (Virginia), and Nicholas (Rebecca) Shaffer; great grandchildren, Sydney, Samantha, Christopher, Alexis, Carmen, and Victoria Shaffer, Tyler Wessa, and Zachary Inscho; sister-in-law, Gloria Rieser; many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifetime friend Shirley Jennings of Virginia. Preceded in death by husbands, Elmer C. Miller, whom she raised her children with, and George R. Rea; sister, Carol Evans; brothers, Theodore and Jack Rieser, and sister-in-law, Marjorie Rieser. Friends may visit 3-7 p.m.Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date. No flowers please, Marguerite’s request was for “One Red Rose”.
