Marianne Evelyn Forder

Marianne Evelyn (Steele) Forder, age 99, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on July 2, 1923. She is predeceased by her husband William K. (Bill) Forder, her parents, two siblings, and her grandson Brian S. Forder. She is survived by her sons William S. (Steve) Forder (Lisa) and Kevin S. Forder (Pam); her daughter-in-law Barbara Forder; and her grandchildren Corina Forder Tyndall (Dave), Shane D. Forder (Kayla Snow), and Rachel Hayward (Luke).

Marianne was a kind and giving soul who more than anything loved spending time with her family. She and Bill spent more than 70 years together and were very active members of Trinity United Methodist Church. They enjoyed attending Ohio State baseball games, including getting to know the players and occasionally travelling with the team. Marianne served with Bill in the Explorers youth organization where they impacted many young members who later became lifelong friends. In her later years, Marianne loved playing Euchre with friends at the Upper Arlington Senior Center, solving crossword puzzles, playing solitaire and taking daily walks in her neighborhood. May she rest in peace.
