Marilyn Romaine Greene

Marilyn R. Greene, age 88, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on August 6, 1933 to the late Carl and Romaine Burnette. Marilyn retired from General Motors after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of Hilliard United Methodist Church, the Southeast Conservation Club, and was a longtime volunteer at Mt. Carmel. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Greene; children, Arthur L Greene II, and Deborah Kay Greene-Bryant; and sister, Patricia Ann Burnette. She is survived by her grandchildren, Madison Gibbs, Stacie Betterman, Kristen Winters, and Tristen Duckworth; great granddaughter, Sierra Betterman; brother, Carl J. (Roseanne) Burnette; niece, Michelle (Dale) Applegate; great nieces, Kimberly Sipe, and Amber Woods; daughter in-law, Theresa Greene; and son in-law, Kelvin Bryant. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 11:00AM-1:00PM followed by a time to share memories at 1:00PM at HEART AND HOPE BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204.
